We designed this tours for travelers where you might not have
much time but you really want to see Sumatran orangutan( pongo abelii ) and
other wild animals life in the National park.
Tour will start from Medan-Bukit
lawang to explore the jungle of Mt. Leuser National Park and If we’re
lucky we’ll see animals such as Sumatran orangutan( pongo abelii ),
Thomas-leaf monkey, silver leaf-monkey, Siamang,white-handed gibbon, water
monitors, Sumatran peacock, red giant flying squirrel, Malayan giant squirrel.
We will also provide assistance to help you where we’ll pass the
difficult and slippery trails.
ITINERARY.
You will meet our driver at the lobby with Air – conditioner car
at your hotel where you stay around 6:00 AM, journey 3 hours to Bukit lawang.
Our expert guide will welcome you when you arrive at Bukit lawang and accompany
you to restaurant where you can order simple breakfast before jungle trekking
start.
After your breakfast around 9:00 AM, we will start our
adventure to explore the jungle for 5-6 hours and you will do private trek not
join with other group.
Once we arrive at the border of Mt. Leuser National park, our
guide will give you a briefing how to behave in the jungle. Afterward we will
start to search the animals and if we’re lucky we’ll see animals such as
Sumatran orangutan, Thomas leaf-monkey, Silver leaf-monkey, Siamang (black
gibbon), White-handed gibbon, Pig-tailed macaque, Monitor lizards, Sumatran
peacock, Red giant flying squirrel and Malayan giant squirrel. Our expert guide
will explain to you about flora and fauna and some medicinal plants that are
still widely used for people who live in the village
At 13:00 we stop for a break. For lunch we provide our fried
rice wrappers from home. After lunch we also provide fresh tropical fruits. We
have pineapple, bananas, oranges, passion fruit and watermelon.
After lunch we continue our tour to exploring the forest and
observing the wildlife toward to the river. Once we get to the river you can
swim while enjoying the fresh water that comes from the mountains. You can also
enjoy the beauty of the jungle from the river side.
We will pack up to return to the village, have fun while enjoy
the traditional tube rafting back!!
Tour will be finish at 15. 00 Pm.
You can change your dry clothes when we arrive in the village
and ready return to Medan hotel for another 3 hours with our
driver.
WHAT TO BRING :
You only need to carry a small backpack. Bring: 1 large bottle
of mineral water, mosquito repellent, sun creams, medicines, toilet paper
, swimsuit, and hiking shoes for a trip into the jungle.

Inclusive :
Return air-con car, driver, petrol, parking fees, licensed
guide, permit to the jungle, fruits, lunch, water and traditional tube rafting
to the village.
NB: On this
trip we also offer to pickup you at 8:00 am from Medan hotel where you stay in,
and you will arrive in Bukit lawang at 11:00 am. We do jungle trip for about
3-4 hours and you still have big chance to see the orangutans and other
wildlife. please contact us about your pickup schedule and we will do our best.
