without joining with other groups. The three-days orangutans tour our
expert guide will take you deeper into the jungle to explore more and try to
search of the wild Sumatran orangutan ( pongo abelli ) and
other kind of the wild animals, you will hike more and will increase your
knowledge about the tropical rain Forest.In total the National Park lists 285
species of bird, 90 of Mammals,reptiles and 35 of amphibians. The National Park
– flora contains some 3500 plant species and on each hectare of the lowland
forest you find amazing 60-130 tree species.
You will camp at two different
peaceful place of Mt.LeuserNational Park, we will enjoying the
night time play some card with the team and make campfire while watching
fireflies or fishing in the river. Our team will cook in the campsite where you
will try typical Indonesia food
We will also provide the assistance to help you where we’ll pass
the difficult and slippery trails.
ITINERARY.
Day 1 :
Pick up from Medan hotel/airport,
journey four hours to BukitLawang by air – conditioner car,
relax remaining the day, accommodation. If you have time you could visit the
bat cave or you can do village tour by Tuk-tuk.
Day 2 :
Our expert guide will pick you up at the hotel where you stay
and the trekking tour will start after breakfast around 9:00 am. We
will pass the rubber plantation before entrance the National Park and that
takes approximately about 15 minutes. If we’re lucky in this plantation, we
could see the monkeys who eat the rubber fruits.
You will receive a small briefing before entering the jungle,
walk for about 5-6 hours to spotting animals together, if we are lucky we
will see animals such us Sumatran orangutan( pongo abelii ), Thomas
leaf-monkey, silver leaf-monkey, siamang, white-handed gibbon, fig-tailed
macaque, water monitor, Sumatran peacock, red giant flying squirrel, Malayan
giant squirrel, hornbill, etc. our expert guide will explain you about
flora and fauna.
At 13.00 we stop for lunch time, we have fried rice and
for the desserts we have fruits such us pineapple, watermelon, bananas,
orange and passion fruit.
After lunch continue the tours watching the orangutans or other
animals, towards to the campsite. When we arrive at the campsite you can
directly go for a swim, afterwards you can relax while enjoying the atmosphere
with tea or coffee. After dinner we can watch the fireflies around the tent
area and learn jungle skill with the Guide or fishing in the river.
Day 3 :
After breakfast we will continue our journey to get to the next
campsite for about 4-5 hours, while looking for the animals. You can also learn
about A medicinal plant that is still often used by people who live in the
village.
We have fried noodle for lunch, that we brought from the first
campsite, for the desserts we have fruits such us pineapple, watermelon,
banana, orange and passion fruit.
After lunch we continue the tours, towards to the last campsite.
When we arrive at the campsite you can directly go for a swim to fresh your
body , afterward you can relax while enjoying the atmosphere with tea or coffee
if we are lucky will see the animals around the campsite such us sumatran
orangutan( pongo abelii ), monkeys and water monitor lizard.
After dinner you can watch the fireflies around the tent area
and learn jungle game with the Guide. If we have good weather we can make
campfire or fishing in the river.
Day 4 :
After breakfast we can walk around the campsite for 2-3 hours to
explore the jungle or we can relax at the riverside to enjoy the animals,
afterwards we can visit and swim at the waterfall. When we come back to the
tent we have noodle soup and jungle fruits salads for lunch.
We will pack, return back to the hotel /guest house by
traditional tube rafting and our jungle tours will be finished around 15.00 PM.
Day 5 :
Journey four hours to Medan/airport.

mosquito repellent, sun creams, medicines, toilet paper, changing clothes,
sandals, flashlight, swimsuit, rain coat and a towel.
